Liz Brown joined Integrated Community Services in October of 2020 and brings over 15 years of professional experience in disability services. Liz holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas at Austin and is licensed to practice in the state of Texas. For 8 years, she managed programs in various nonprofit organizations in Austin, TX in the areas of residential care, homelessness, oncology, HIV and hospice care. Since 2016, she was the executive director of University Access Programs at Abilene Christian University where she was the American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator and oversaw all programs and services for students with disabilities. In addition to her professional experience, Liz is the oldest sibling of two amazing individuals with developmental delays, so she has a deep personal connection to the work of ensuring people with disabilities have dignity, safety, access, and opportunities to thrive in all areas of their lives.
