Debbie L. Adams founded South Texas Community Living, expanding 6-bed ICF/IID group homes in the San antonio and McAllen areas.

1992
1993

Texas HCS founded to provide individuals with natural/residential home settings in HCS Programs in San Antonio, Texas.

Integrated Community Services (ICS) expands HCS programs into San Antonio and Abilene, Texas.

1993
2000

Texas HCS expands to serve individuals in the Beaumont, Texas area.

2000
2004

Integrated Community Services (ICS) expands to serve the North Houston, Texas area.

2008

Texas HCS expands to serve individuals in Harlingen, Texas and the larger Rio Grande Valley.

Celebrating 200+ Individuals Served

Current Leadership Team formed with Lonnie Welch as Chief Executive Officer, Brian Ketay as President, and Vicki Welch as Chief Financial Officer.

Acquired Additional ICF homes in the Rio Grande Valley from Tropical Texas serving McAllen and Harlingen, Texas

Acquired Additional ICF homes from Community Healthcare service San Antonio, Texas

South Texas Commnunity Living and Integrated Community Services celebrate 25 Years in business.

Us Today

Today, South Texas Community Living, Integrated Community Services, and Texas HCS house and serve over 300 individuals with intellectual disabilities statewide in group homes, natural-residential settings, and in the foster care model. We continue Debbie Adam’s vision by helping more individuals each day and expanding our program’s services.
