Timika Peterson

Timika has directed Texas HCS, Inc. in Beaumont since 2006, after serving as its Case Manager since 2003. She graduated from Lamar University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, and received an MBA from Texas Southern University in 2014.

Timika started her journey of working with individuals with disabilities in 1998, working at Life Resource (currently known as Spindletop Center) as a Therapist Technician and has significant hands-on experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental illness. Timika’s mission is to aid in reducing stigma and improve quality of life for all individuals served by ensuring individuals are awarded opportunities in which they desire.
