Careers
Make A Difference
We actively recruit experienced personnel to provide direct support to the people we serve, as well as experienced professional staff to coordinate services and manage the operations in each of our service regions. But most importantly, we strive to determine who among our applicants have the most compassion and true heart for the work that we do. We know we can train a caregiver, for example, in all of the duties of the job. But we know it’s not likely that we can teach patience, positive spirit, professionalism, fun, and respectful communication…these are qualities that come naturally to some people. We know our main goal is to search for those most special employees who will put the needs of the people we serve above their own needs, and will spread a spirit of positivity and support.
If you believe you are one of these people, please give us a call or apply online by clicking on the links above and follow the directions. We typically have a variety of positions available, and we encourage anyone interested to call us with questions. We will take the time to explain everything to you, and promise that the experience of applying and interviewing is relaxed and not intimidating. We understand that the application is a two-way process in which we want to learn as much about you, as possible, and you also want to learn about the job and our organization. We do conduct thorough background checks, including but not limited to: criminal history, driving history, and potential history of abuse/neglect/exploitation of an elderly or disabled person.
A Unique Experience
When you join our team, you are joining our family. We highly value the relationship we have with each individual employee and also value the friendships that develop between employees. Working with and for the people we service will be a meaningful experience that can grow into a rewarding career. You will help people to achieve independence and gain the skills needed to thrive and feel proud. Your feeling of self-purpose and the joys and challenges of supporting the people we serve will be more personally rewarding than most other jobs.
From orientation and on-the-job learning, to being available to address your own needs or concerns, we will support you every step of the way. We are available 24/7 to answer your questions, address your concerns, or just to hear from you to say hi or share a great experience you may have had with a particular person. We fully understand that people who help to support others need support themselves.
